NOTE: This walkthrough was made using Microsoft Outlook 2007. You can check which version you are using by clicking on the "Help" dropdown menu and selecting "About".

1). When you first open Microsoft Outlook, at the top of the window, click on the "Tools" dropdown menu. Then, click on "Account Settings...".
2). In the window that opens, select the tab labeled "E-mail" and click on "New".
3). In the field labeled "Your Name:" type in your name. This will be displayed whenever you send or forward e-mail. In the field labeled "E-mail Address:" type in your e-mail address. Your e-mail address is a combination of your user name and @advertisnet.com, @dam.net, or @lakeozark.net (You can choose which suffix to use). (Example: If your user name is sam, and you want to use @advertisnet.com as your suffix, your e-mail address will be sam@advertisnet.com). Finally, type your password in the remaining two fields labeled "Password" and "Retype Password". DO NOT CLICK NEXT.
4). Select the box labeled "Manually configure server settings or additional server types." Click "Next" to continue.
5). Select "Internet E-mail" and click "Next" to continue.
6). (Some of the information here should be filled in if you entered data as described in step 3). In the field labeled "Your Name:" type in your name. This will be displayed whenever you send or forward e-mail. In the field labeled "E-mail Address:" type in your e-mail address. Your e-mail address is a combination of your user name and @advertisnet.com. (Example: If your user name is sam, your e-mail address will be sam@advertisnet.com). Click on the dropbox labeled "Account Type" and select "POP3". In the field labeled "Incoming Mail Server" type pop.advertisnet.com. In the field labeled "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)" type smtp3.advertisnet.com. Finally, type your account's username in the "User name" field, and your account's password in the "Password Field" and click "More Settings" to continue.
7). On the window that opens, select the tab labeled "Outgoing Server".
8). Click the box labeled "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication". Then select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" and click "OK".
9). Back at the main setup window, click "Next" to continue.
10). Click "Finish". Conratulations! Your e-mail is now ready for use!
