NOTE: This walkthrough was made using Outlook Express 6. You can check which version you are using by clicking the "HelP" dropdown menu and selecting "About".

1). When you first open Outlook Express, the first screen you'll see is the one to your right. In the field labeled "Display Name", simply type your name. This will be displayed whenever you send/forward e-mail. Click "Next" to continue.
2). In the field labeled "E-mail address" type your e-mail address. Your e-mail asddress is a combination of your username and @advertisnet.com, @dam.net, or @lakeozark.net (You can choose which suffix to use). (Example: If your user name is sam, and you want to use @advertisnet.com as your suffix, your e-mail address will be sam@advertisnet.com). Click "Next" to continue.
3). In the field labeled "Incoming mail" type pop.advertisnet.com. Next, in the field labeled "Outgoing server" type smtp3.advertisnet.com. Click "Next" to continue.

(OPTIONAL: You can click on the box labeled "Remember Password" to give you an easier time when checking e-mail). Click "Next" to continue.
5). Your account is nearly setup. There is one more task to perform before it is usable. Click "Finish".
6). At the top of the Outlook Express window, click on the "Tools" dropdown menu and select "Accounts".
7). In the new window that opens, highlight your new e-mail account (Usually labeled pop.advertisnet.com) and click "Properties" to the right.
8). In the new window that opens, click the tab labeled "Servers".
